Do the cleanning work in relative's home
During the holiday , from 29th April to 2rd May , I did the volunteer work in my aunt's house .The main task was cleanning the house .
In the morning of 29th April , I went to my aunt's house , I found the machines ang started to sweep the floor , I sweep the dinning room , three bedrooms , living room . I felt so tired , but I know I had to do it . I had a little minutes' rest . And then I was cleanning the tolite , I brushed the washing table , and the ground . It was so xlean . My aunt cheaked it out ,and praised me that was so clean .
My aunt washed the clothes and I putted them on the shelves . At the beginning, I felt very tired . But now I felt a little better , I was enjoy doing these work , and I felt very happy .
The next three days , I went to my aunt's house as before , I felt many people did these work just to earn the money for their lives , and I just did these few days . I thought I needed to do it better .

On 24th april , I got the ticket from my friend
and went to join the concert with her in the Nanjing people's assemble hall. It was called
"The spring of Fockmosic'' and it held by the Traffic
bank to commemorate the bank set up 20 years . And
this bank also cooperate with Expo 2010 Shanghai
china .
This concert invinted Beijing famous players , singers
and musician . They played many famous songs ,
such as Kamen , The road to sky , The deep night, A nice wine.
It also including westen style . A girl gave me the deepest

I was very happy to join the concert , and it let me feel the differce between two cultures , I wondered to have another chance .

CookingOn 11th April , I went to the school to learn the cooking from the french students . Our group was to learn the chocolate cake . It souded difficult, but actually it was simple.
The stuff that cooking we needed were four eggs , 2 pears , black chocolate , 250g flour , 250g butter , 100g yeast , a little salt , special cases , chopsticks and the oven .
We needed to make the butter hot , and broked the eggs , then added to it ,stired them. Then added the flour , yeast , a little salt and mixed them . Made the chocolate hot , cutted the pears into big pieces . And mixed all things together , poured all things to a special case . That ok , then putted the case into the oven to toast , 30 minutes , the temperature was 180 centigrade .
Those were all the steps , and try it yourself , you may feel simple and tasty . I was so glade to have this special lesson .

Go to the St.Paul's churchOn 29th March, my classmates and I went to the St.Paul's church . We were so sorry to ge there late . And I saw many people there. They did the prayer cordially. Actually I did know many things about this , even feel very strange . I followed these people did these things .
First it is prelude called the lord is in his templecall to worship. The leader said: how can young people keep their way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commandments. I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you. Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes. eat western food with friends
Eat western food with friends On 15th March, 
I went to eat western food withmy friends in Tacos . Most food in the restaurant are Mexico style . The enviornment of this restaurant is very good . The lightings are not very strong , and the music is soft , let you feel romantic and relaxed .
I ordered an ice-cream with three different tastes: strawberry , chocolate and vanilla . And added a little chocolate jam . There are some small bricks in it . It tasted so cool and sweety
I also ordered the mixed rice with the shrimps, inkfishes and some special curd . It tasted delicious and a little bit spicy .
My friends and I were all think these food were tasty . I suggested you would better go to the restaurant after 2 o'clock , because it has a discount . That will be cheaper .
If you have a chance , you can go there to have a taste.

Go to the Nanjing Museum of Palaeontology
On 14th march , I went to the Nanjing Museum of palaeontology with my friend Chanel .
In the hall, I saw the big pictures about the evolution of large lives , the animals in the
evolution , and the evolution of the Earth.

Go up the steps , it showed us many fossils that many times ago in Nanjing . Beside these , can see the introduction about the forms and the types of the fossils .
There were not many ture things , just the introuduces . Through the microscopes , we discovered the cells of the strange things .
It also showed us the evolvement of people , birds , dinasours, and the oceans .
That was interested to have this visit , it let me know many this about the old living things .

Physical activity
During this holiday , I went to the Viet Nam with my family . I visited many famous places in Viet Nam and also did some physical activities .
On Jan 28th , we followed the guide , took the ship on Xia Long Bay and got to the cavern . We should climbed a small mountain and then went into it . We went into the cave and saw many big irregular stones . In the light , we can clearly saw their shapes, they seemed very true to life . They touched not very smooth . I felt there were many small hole on it . That was amazing .
On Jan 30th , we went to the Heaven Island that in Xia Long Bay . The sunshine was too dazzling , It is very hot . We heard from the guide that if we climbed to the top of the hill , we would see the hole view of the Xia Long Bay . That’s amazing , and I can not wait . we tramped the steep steps carefully one by one , I just climbed to the half of the hill . Because I have no strength any more , what’s a pity . Look the view from the top to the under , there were three colors took in each other : dark green , lighter green and golden yellow . Three colors made a wonderful pictures . A lot of people wanted to take photos with it . We climbed down the hill and sat down under the tree . People enjoyed themselves . I saw some people took off their shoes and walked near the sea , that was so cool . Some children swimmed in the sea and some used the sands to build the house , that was interesting .
The following were the activities that I did at home .
On Feb 1st , I jumped the rope and walked with my cousin .
On Feb 5th , I rode the bike in the park near my house .
On Feb 6th , I walked with my grandmother and chatted a lot .
I was very happy to do these interesting activities .

During this holiday , I went to my father’s company to do some work . I was very happy to have this chance .
I saw many aunt and uncle , they were all doing their own work hardly . I do not have any skills and experience , so I just do some simple things , such as help people printed some documents , copied some things that need to be revised , and calculated the total money about the operation of goods’ out and enter . These were all about the financial affairs .
Although these things seem very simple , I also made the mistakes in the process . But some kind uncles and aunts help a lot . A account book has many pages and too many numbers , and I should calculate the total number . In this process , I felt a little bit headache , but I still insisted it . And the finally , bad result : I was wrong , I had to do it again . I also insisted , a uncle helped to see it , and found out the problem that was I wrote wrong a number . “ oh , My god ! ” I said . Then I thought a problem , if I finish my study in future and I find a work . I thought nobody would help me like this day , I only depend on myself . Although today or future , the rivalry is very intensely . We must pay more attention , be careful to our work , trust yourself you can do it .
I also thought a picture , we always ask father or mother to get some money , even some children would want a lot of money from his parent , raise many unreasonable requests . One yuan is consisted from ten jiaos , and many one yuans can make the 100 yuan . our parent work hard , maybe sometimes would be criticized by their boss , they want to get the money , support this family , give you clothes , food , good environment . They are so difficult , sometimes we should understand them .
Three days goes fast , but I am very happy to use this chance to learn a lot of useful things . I think if have next time , I will do better.

with grade 12 mentors

On Dec 14th，We went to the “Ciao Italian Pizzeria Restaurant” that is on Shigu road with grade 12 student Tracy, Vivian, and Julia.
The environment of the restaurant is romantic. The light is very dark. There are many paintings of the beautiful views on the wall. The cook of the restaurant is from Italy. I saw there are many foreign people in it. We chose the biggest table to sit. I saw seafood, Pizza, home-made noodle etc in the menu. I ordered a Pizza with mush-rooms and sausage and a chocolate ice-cream. And the ice-cream tastes very cool and the chocolate is pure. The piece of Pizza was very tasty. It was made of sausage and mush-rooms. They were different from Chinese food. Most Chinese food are use stir-fry. It smells very fragrant. But the Italian food gives us different feeling.
Some ways to cook them were roast and add many delicious soup. They tasted more mellow wine than chinese food. I like these food. They tasted yum and you also can feel the meaningful things.
The service of the restaurant was good. The waitress spoke with a smile and very polite. They know what we need. I like this restaurant. Like its enviorment, food, and service. I will recommend other people to eat there. And I also want to go to the different restaurant from another country.
go to an exhibition with Mr.hadly's class
On nov 4th ，2008. Our class went to Nanjing University with Ms.hadly and 10-F to see the exhibition of Wu Weishan’s sculpture.
There are many different traditional and contemporary artworks. Most of them are about the people. Such as the scientist Yang Zhenning, Calligrapher Xiaoxian, painter Wu Zuoren，Historian QianMu etc. I like one of these artworks best that is Lin Sanz walking and chanting.
This is artwork is about a bald old man wearing a thick overcoat. One hand inserted in the pocket, another hand grasps the walking stick. There are many wrimkles in his face. The artist used uncommon shapes, bent lines. The colors of this artwork are brown and dark green, and material was bronze.
This artwork makes me feel a little serious. And I am alike think with the calligrapher. I think the artist wanted to, through making this man, show us the state and the history of this experienced old man. This artwork reminds me of my grandfather. He is also an kind experienced man. He works very hard and teaches me many useful things. I think the artist’s intention is to tell us not to forget the famous people. They are the heroes, their spirit is worth for us to study.
I like the artwork. Because it let me feel more truly. I can through this artwork think of many things. I can clearly see the man’s clothes and the man’s facial expression. He was thinking, may be sighed his life or think of many deep problems. Yes, I think other people might appreciate the artwork. If you close it and use your heart to experience. I think there will be many things appear in your mind, and you will also appreciate the artwork.
At the last that the time we were ready to back. We saw the famous artist Wu Weishan. Many student asked he some questions about his artworks. And also many student asked him to signature and wanted to take photo with he. He is a very kind person, always smile to us and we feel very happy.
I like the exhibition. I see many good sculpture artworks those I never seen before. It let me feel the charm of the art and it also can improve our atheistic. I hope we will have more chance to see many exhibitions like this.
